Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook (GWSMO) Not Syncing
Outlook has stopped getting email on a Google account
There are a couple of things to note.
The basic answer is this tool has been turned "off" in March 2025:
Beginning March 14, 2025, Google Accounts will no longer support Google Sync. For exact dates, go to Google Workspace Updates
Also, Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook (GWSMO) is not compatible with the New Outlook on desktop.
Suggest using Microsoft 365 moving forward, as you not only get emails (like Google) but Word, Excel, Outlook as well, not to mention third-party apps work far better with 365.
